8/7/2008 Up, up and away we go!

Up early.  Arrive Buffalo Airport.  Check in, go through security.  We are on Delta #5537 to JFK.  Departs 11:20 am.  Arrives at 12:55 pm.  We have a long layover here.  We have lunch at Todd English Bonfire.  We share skirt steak soft tacos and caesar salad $37.00.

We have to go from the Delta terminal to the British Airways terminal for international flights.  Our flight to London is on British Airways #174.  Departs 6:45 pm.  Arrives next day 8/8 at 6:55 am. The airport was congested and we didn't make it on to the runway for take off until around 8:30 pm!  JFK is a very busy airport.  Dinner was better than expected for airline food.  Chicken, rice, and peppers.  Salad, roll. Dessert was cheesecake.  Had 2 bottles of wine-chardonnay and syrah.  Tea, water.  Coke with snack.  Movies on demand.  Watched Kung Fu Panda, Narnia.  There were 24 movie selections. Our seats were comfortable with wrap around head rests and foot rests.  Back rows were empty so Richard and I moved so we each had 2 seats to ourselves.  Very nice.
